Welcome to ISR Fort Liberty Area!

Empower your child with water confidence and critical safety skills through ISR Self-Rescue.

Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) is the global leader in survival swimming instruction, teaching life-saving Self-Rescue skills to children 6 months to 6 years old. With over 55 years of research and development and the industry's highest safety standards, we've delivered more than 19 million lessons, helping children build both safety skills and confidence in the water.

Our mission is clear: "Not One More Child Drowns." While we strongly advocate for pool fences, alarms, and active adult supervision, we recognize that these traditional safety measures aren't enough on their own. ISR's innovative approach puts children at the center of drowning prevention. With over 450,000 graduates and hundreds of documented survival stories, we've proven that children can learn to save themselves.

Our method works because we understand that children are naturally curious and capable. Rather than rely solely on barriers, we equip them with the skills they need if they ever find themselves in water alone. We transform that natural curiosity into life-saving capability, creating confident swimmers and peace of mind for parents.

Meet Your Instructor

Hi! My name is Holli Simpson, and I have been an ISR instructor since 2022. I was born and raised in Fayetteville, NC, and reside in Wade with my family! My husband and I met in high school, and we've been married for 22 years. We are the proud parents of two amazing kids, a daughter in college and a son in his senior year of high school.

Prior to ISR, I worked in real estate and have been a licensed agent in NC since 2000. I am also a certified Yoga instructor and have taught yoga since 2019. I love spending quality time with my family and being outdoors. I enjoy anything fitness-related and love running, yoga, and weight lifting. I have worked at my mom's local real estate firm in Fayetteville for 25 years. I've thoroughly enjoyed being a part of a family-run business with her. However, I've always desired to have a career working with kids and being outside of an office setting where I could build my own schedule.

I first learned about ISR in 2019 when my middle sister Stefanie completed her training and immediately became interested. My youngest sister, Morgan, has also been an instructor since 2021. The more I learned about the program and knowing that Drowning is the #1 leading cause of accidental death in children aged 1-4, I knew that I wanted to be part of ISR's mission of "Not One More Child Drowns." I absolutely love working with kids actively in the pool and teaching them aquatic survival skills! I want to help in every way possible to ensure children are equipped with these life-saving skills should they find themselves in the water alone. I am so thankful to all of my swim families for trusting me to teach your sweet babies. I am excited about the opportunity to teach many more students and am looking forward to meeting you and your kiddos by the pool!

FAQ

“Supervision has a problem in that every time their child doesn't drown, parents think their drowning prevention strategy is working.

Luck is not a strategy.”
